Position(s): Area Dispatcher
General Scope:
Managing loads to tractors in a specific geographic area. Aiming for 100% on time pickups and deliveries matching drivers, trailers, loads in the most efficient manner maximizing the utilization of tractors, drivers and trailers while minimizing empty miles.

Responsibilities:
Continuous communication with Customer Service; freight needs in a specific geographic area, any potential late pick up or delivery information, trailer spot requirements, trailer pool issues (too many/not enough).
Assigning tractors to loads to attain 100% on time pickup and delivery of freight.
Focus assignments to minimize empty miles.
Management of trailer pools in assigned geographic area to maximize utilization, assuring trailer pools are at agreed upon levels by customer, accounting for all trailing equipment at all times.
Maintain general knowledge and understanding of different equipment, weight requirements, divisions, and drivers in the NPE system as well as State, Federal and local restrictions and requirements.
Maintain general geographic knowledge of areas, understanding of time/distance factors.
Communicating with Sales Personnel freight needs.
Maintain the flexibility to balance the needs of the customers, drivers, and company on a daily basis to meet or exceed their expectations.

Position: Logistics Coordinator
NPE, Logistics, an asset based transportation solution provider, has an opportunity for a results oriented Logistics Coordinator to be based out of our corporate headquarters in Eugene, Oregon or out of our terminal location in Seattle, Washington.

Job Description: Candidate must have industry experience in logistics field, as well as comprehensive knowledge of the dry & temperature control markets, western states operations and intermodal traffic. The right candidate will also be able to direct and manage a growing and dynamic department. This position requires a self-motivator who operates with a sense of urgency. Compensation package is commensurate with experience and achievements.
